Thought they had got themselves on an even keel financially, now the manager has left as he has not been paid!
Another Shit or bust club?

Its all going pear shaped at Histon but it has been for a long time now! Classic case of going up the leagues too fast without the financial backup required - still don't understand why they are in the Blue Square North and not the South.
Gates have dwindled to less than 300 and so its a good job that they now share with Cambridge University Press and use their ground for training

Several players have now left due to not being paid. I would also think they should expect a fine and points deduction for not fullfilling fixtures.
And you are right MRF, would not want that fag waving idiot anywhere near this football club!

I would not be surprised at that, however I think they will see the season out (finances permitting) and then maybe take a double relegation into our current division. At least that would assist them to continue on a more realistic financial footing. Travelling to the likes of Workington and Chester plus others must be killing them.

I think that the situation at Histon has been festering for sometime and from the comments I've heard the last people to be told the true situation were the supporters who lay the whole blame on the board. This seems to be a clear case of the board having "Great Expectations"while being devoid of the finances to realise this aim. A salutory lesson to everyone.

Could not put it better myself Ian.
Just look at the likes of CUFC who have budgeted for silly gates and putting ticket prices up! Fans will turn their backs and then cost cutting happens
