There was very little in this game to warm or cheer anybody up.A draw was a fair result both sides cancelled one another out and the entertainment value teetered on the dizzy heights of lethargy. I'm sure some people will say that this is harsh but supporters pay money to be entertained and if this does not happen then they will be making their feelings known by not coming to watch games especially when the weather is as inclement as it was today. Analysis, too one dimensional, unable to convert scoring opportunities into goals, lack of midfield creativity. Seems unable to change tactics when things are not going right.Changing a forward for a forward or a midfielder for a midfielder does not mean a change of tactics in my book. Still, being ever the optimist I believe that at some stage things will change and normal service will be resumed in the near future.Until then I will persevere with supporting the Crows as I have done for many years in spite of the unpredictability of the performances at this time.

On a pitch that despite the weather was good for proper football, the team just went route one. Like you say the lack of commitment or heart from majority of the team was shocking. I do feel that when the substitutions were made there was a lift in effort and at times football was played. I will tip my hat to Liam McDevit who again gave his heart and sole for the team and jack Bradshaw again playing out of position did well. But the other two midfield players showed little commitment or passion for the game. The common opinion was at least two substitutions should of been made at half time. I am also stunned that Stuart bridges wasn't used when the team needed to push on for a goal. I personally found it a shock that the line up that struggled to beat a team that's at the bottom end of the league wasn't changed.

I may be naive but I cannot believe that any footballer would walk out on to pitch and not be prepared to give 100%.If this is correct then there must be other reasons for the way the team performs.Perhaps the system they are being asked to play is flawed and as they only play to one system no matter who the opposition is then predictability is something that will be used against us by subsequent teams in the coming weeks. Perhaps the players are not receptive to the roles they are being asked to play,or are they just not in tune with the coaching staffs way they want the team to play.some players appear to be underperforming, whether this is due to lack of form or because they are not the same after injury, only they will know. The problem with this is that we do not appear to have any alternatives so the status quo will prevail. I trust I am wrong but the next four games against Barton Rovers,Rushden and Diamonds,Chalfont St Peters and Egham Town could be the defining time for our season.

I agree this must be coming down from above. Especially as the manager has named an unchanged side for tonight's game after the rubbish I saw at the weekend. The system works well as proved with the eight game run from earlier. I am struggling to believe how blind this manager is, it's becoming clear he has his favourite players and it has nothing to do with ability!!!
